EYFS‑Aligned Learning for Every Stage of Early Childhood
At Crayons Nursery, every age group follows the British EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Framework, ensuring that your child develops the essential skills, knowledge and confidence needed for lifelong learning.
Each stage of our curriculum is carefully designed to match your child’s developmental needs, nurturing curiosity, independence, creativity and emotional wellbeing.
Areas of Development
Communication & Language
We encourage children to express themselves with confidence through conversations, storytelling and group interactions. Strong language skills form the foundation for learning, relationships and self-expression.
Physical Development
Through both indoor and outdoor activities, children develop coordination, strength and fine motor skills. From movement-based play to hands-on tasks, we support healthy physical growth and independence.
Personal, Social & Emotional Development
We help children build positive relationships, understand emotions and develop self-confidence. Creating a safe and nurturing environment allows each child to feel secure, valued and ready to explore.
Literacy & Numeracy
Early reading, writing and mathematical concepts are introduced in engaging and meaningful ways. Children begin to recognize letters, sounds, numbers, patterns and problem-solving through everyday experiences.
Creative Arts
Creativity is encouraged through art, music, role play and imaginative activities. These experiences allow children to explore ideas, express emotions and develop original thinking.
